Carters “Mount” Special Delivery Service..
Carters Picture Mounts would normally use the overnight courier service after manufacture and for very small orders the GPO.
We’ve found over the years that many of the other types of service are unreliable which for cardboard products , even well wrapped and protected ones such as ours is problematic. We absolutely want our picture mounts to arrive without bumps and dints or corners “rounded” . Our aim as always is to have “picture mounts ready to go
Even the “Reindeer Special” at Christmas has had to be suspended in favour of the courier service. In terms of cost the very lightest products are £5.99 and the heaviest with multi cartons stretch between £11.49 and £15.00 . This covers all of mainland UK. We try very hard to identify the cost of carriage before the order is made. Highlands and Islands may take up to two days by carrier with the distances involved.
Customers are always welcome to collect from our Lake District workshops but it’s important to check beforehand that the order is ready for collection. Unfortunately Moss the company mascot (pictured) is not available for delivering … 🙂
